Head lice are NOT a problem that is related to personal hygiene. Head lice may take hold of even a well groomed head and then multiply. The main reason for increasing incidents of head lice is a lack of knowledge as to their transmission, propagation and defeat. Almost every child will suffer from this problem at one time or another. For such situations we offer our especially mild HELPIC Emulsion to get rid of head lice infections in children.

HELPIC Head lice Emulsion is used against head lice and to protect from the propagation and/or spreading of possibly contracted head lice. When used properly, head lice and their egg deposits, which are called nits, are washed out with the emulsion.

HELPIC Head lice Emulsion is suitable especially for children, but of course also for adults, and contains natural based substances which encase the lice and kill them. When applied to lice eggs (nits), the active ingredients will release an adhesive agent, so that the nits along with the lice are removed from the hair during rinsing and combing.

Thanks to its composition, the HELPIC Head lice Emulsion is very mild and may be used as frequently as necessary without any concern. Prior to its use, the packaging or the user instructions provide good advice on how to use this product properly.

HELPIC Head lice Emulsion is offered in a 100 ml bottle with a special lice and nits comb included. If used properly according to the instructions, this bottle will be sufficient for one to two treatments, depending upon the length of the hair.

Use:

•	Shake bottle well before use.
•	Moisten hair and scalp with water. Then spread the emulsion evenly across the entire length of the hair and massage lightly into the scalp. The hair must be completely saturated with the emulsion. If used on very long or thick hair another package of emulsion might be required.
•	Leave in for approx. 60 minutes, while for best results the hair should be covered with a disposable shower cap. Then shampoo the hair as usual with your regular shampoo, towel dry with a fresh towel and comb out thoroughly and carefully with the enclosed lice and nits comb.
•	After 3 to 5 days this treatment should be repeated.
•	In the event there is an increased risk of head lice infestation, rub approx. 5ml (about 1 tablespoon) of emulsion into the rinsed and still wet hair, then shampoo about 30 minutes later and blow dry as usual.
